Overview
Aux Riders is a ride-booking product: request a vehicle, watch it on the map, pay. The client has to stay accurate while the vehicle is moving.
The Challenge
Live tracking, fare and payment have to stay consistent. A stale location or a double charge is not a UI bug — it is a product failure.
The Solution
I implemented the Flutter client with BLoC for booking states, Google Maps for live tracking, and a payment integration for checkout once the trip is confirmed.

Engineering Challenges
- Modelled booking as an explicit state machine (idle → requested → assigned → in-trip → paid) so the UI cannot skip a step.
- Throttled location updates to keep the map smooth without flooding the API.
- Isolated payment confirmation from map redraws so a render tick cannot retrigger checkout.
Outcome
Shipped a ride-booking client with live tracking and payments.
