Overview
YONO SBI is State Bank of India's digital banking product — UPI, bill pay, onboarding, investments and card controls in one Flutter client. The screens here are official product surfaces, not mockups.
The Challenge
A national banking app has to stay fast and accessible on mid-range Android while the product keeps adding payments, KYC, credit and lifestyle modules. Layout jank or a missed contrast issue is a trust failure, not a polish ticket.
The Solution
I worked on production Flutter UI: performance-sensitive screens, accessibility, and the banking flows users hit every day — payments, funding, lock/unlock and onboarding — without claiming product-scale metrics I cannot verify personally.

UI engineering on YONO SBI: performance, accessibility, and production banking screens at national scale.

Product screens
Engineering Challenges
- Profiled and tightened UI performance on mid-range Android rather than treating flagship devices as the baseline.
- Treated accessibility (contrast, tap targets, readable hierarchy) as part of the banking UI, not a later pass.
- Kept payment and lock/unlock flows on explicit states so a redraw cannot skip a confirmation step.
Outcome
Shipped UI on a production national banking product. Screens shown are real YONO SBI product captures from the official store listing.
